Maintenance Manager

Overview

A company is currently seeking to fill the open position of Maintenance Manager. This unique opportunity will require that the Maintenance Manager asists in the design process and opening of a brand new facility of Generators Maintenance Workshop located on the Sana’a HQ. The manager will help recruit and hire mechanics, electricians, spare parts storekeepers and other administrative staff. The Manager is expected to be a working supervisor and will spend some time on repairs and training of staff. The manager will also asist in securing business for the facility. The facility will service all clients and customers and provide all kinds of after sales services.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage, organize, direct, implement coordinate and supervise all activities of the facility.
• Hire, supervise and evaluate overall performance of maintenance staff.
• Define operational procedures for effectiveness, develop maintenance plans and ensure proper staffing levels.
• Develop and review for accuracy and consistency all work orders, invoices, transactions and work within a budget

• Ensure compliance with various NFPA, local and internal safety laws and regulations including
Understanding proper handling, storage, and disposal and reporting of toxic materials and waste.
• Plan for space, tools and equipment needs for workshop operations, coordinated purchases and design of the shop.
• Create/Manage Sana’a HQ Workshop and hire and recruit all necessary staff.
• Create/Manage Mobility Workshop and hire and recruit all necessary staff.

QUALIFICATIONS


• Candidate must has BC/s degree in Mechanical / Electrical
• Candidate must has at least 5 years’ experience in the same position.
• Candidate Must has at least 3+ years’ experience managing Generators maintenance workshop .
• Candidate must has Good leadership skills, communication skills, management skills, planning skills and organizational skills.
• Candidate must has Driver License
• Excellent speak, write English
• Ability to use computers
• Budgeting and ability to manage a budget
• Experience with diagnostic computer equipment
• Knowledge of proper record keeping and computerized record keeping methods
